Chloe Valorso is a Spirit Artist Jeweller
In the Witching hours of the 21st century, Chloe is investigating our reality, forging the unreal from fragments of the real.
Using jewellery as a shamanic language, she collages organic/manmade, seen/imagined, raw materials with contemporary digital associations. Her pieces are amulets, activated when worn, empowering the wearer through their compelling symbolic qualities and deep sense of history – an essential component in this innovative interpretation of mythology. Her pieces encourage a contemplative and spiritual approach to our environment. She aims to inspire a reconnection to the self, each other and nature. Her work is set in liminality.
A material physical exploration of a metaphysical dimension
Chloe graduated from Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art where she is now a visiting lecturer. In 2018, she was awarded the RCA Onno Boekhoudt scholarship to train as a Shamanic Breathwork facilitator. She is a certified yoga and transformation teacher. Her practice is the combination of an art education in renowned schools with innovation spiritual creating a unique perspective and visualisation. Originally from Paris, Chloe is a nomad artist, often travelling to discover new crafts and adventures. Chloe interned for Solange Azagury Partridge and Delfina Delettrez. She collaborates for bespoke collections with sustainable fashion brands.
In 2019, She won the international graduate prize award from Marzee gallery. Her work has been shown at major fairs like Collect, the Jewellery Biennial, Munich Jewellery Week and NYC Jewelry Week.
